Independence Disclaimer

Effective September 25, 2026

This blog publishes independent educational content, tutorials, and commentary about automating and extending Microsoft Teams. We are not Microsoft Corporation, and we have no business affiliation with Microsoft. All product names, logos, and brands mentioned on this site (including Microsoft Teams, Power Automate, and Microsoft Copilot) are property of their respective owners. Use of these names does not imply endorsement. Screenshots, if any, are illustrative recreations, not official Microsoft materials.

What “independent” means here

GenieDataFlow is written by Priya Shah, with occasional guest essays by Marcus Webb. We do not sell Microsoft licenses. We are not a Microsoft partner, reseller, trainer-of-record, or support vendor. Nothing on this site is an official Microsoft document. If Microsoft’s documentation and one of these essays disagree, follow Microsoft’s documentation for your tenant and tell us about the gap.

Names and pictures

We use the names Microsoft Teams, Power Automate, and Microsoft Copilot so readers can tell which product an essay discusses. That use does not imply sponsorship. We do not display the Microsoft logo or the Teams logo. Photographs on the site are general workplace pictures, not captures of the Teams interface. Diagrams are simple original drawings.

No professional engagement

Reading an essay does not create a consulting relationship. The contact form is for comments about the blog. Outcomes inside a company’s tenant depend on licenses, admin policies, and data that we cannot see.
